Controller

Vaco is working with a large healthcare organization seeking a Controller that offer incredible potential for professional growth. In this role, you will manage all aspects of accounting and cash management for a $150M nonprofit agency with services in CT and MA.  You will report to the CFO and be part of the Leadership Team.  In this role, you will: * Provide leadership to accounting, cash management, and payroll functions and staff* Develop and monitor accounting and payroll management systems to meet changing needs of the agency* Manage and monitor all accounts and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements* Issue timely and complete financial statements under GAAP* Assure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations * Drive continuous improvement* Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position.
