2nd Shift Production Assembler

Job Overview

Performs simple assembly operations in flexible work cell to produce light fixtures, plugs & receptacles, pin & sleeve and other lighting products per production work orders. Check all kitted parts prior to assembly for needed quantity and quality. Follow routing specified on production order for work sequences. Utilizes equipment such as power drills, power screwdrivers, arbor press, riveting machine, etc. to effectively assemble product. Conducts final inspection of assembled products prior to packaging.

2nd shift (24.95 per hour plus .50 shift premium)

A Day In The Life
  • Follows safety policies and procedures
  • Places parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together
  • Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line
  • Works at different cells as product needs require
  • Works in cell where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line
