Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all plant equipment in a safe and efficient working order to minimize down time.
We have openings on 2nd and 3rd shift
2nd shift: (2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday)
3rd shift: (10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday)
Pay rate is $26.86/hour - $31.83/hour, based on experience. Plus a shift differential
Responsibilities
- Embraces and follows the Beliefs and Values of Stryten Energy.
- Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water system problems on all plant equipment and facility using prints when they are available.
- Performs all assigned preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment and facility.
- Accurately completes all assigned maintenance work orders using computerized CMMS system.
- All of the above performed while maintaining and improving product quality and personnel safety.
- Maintains housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the Maintenance Department as instructed by Supervisor.
- Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.
- The above list of responsibilities describes normal work but the Supervisor may assign this person to duties not listed when production requirements dictate or when there is not enough work in the regular classification to fill out the workday.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years on the job experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
- Or, minimum three (3) years at Stryten Energy in Maintenance Utility position and meet qualifications of that position.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 90 pounds.
- Good attendance and performance work history.
- Motived self-starter that is able to productively work alone and in groups to solve problems.
- Must have demonstrated competence in the 3 of the 6 following areas.
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Hydraulic
- Pneumatic
- Welding
- HVAC
- Must have his/her own tools.
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills needed to use CMMS system.
- Must complete a forklift driving training program.
- Must complete a scissors lift driving training program.
- Must learn proper lifting skills of up to 10,000 lbs. with a forklift or crane.
- Must complete a Lock Out/Tag Out training program.
