Position Highlights:

Job Summary
- The Surgical Technician provides technical surgical care to patients in support of care as directed by the physician and in accordance with established hospital goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
- The Surgical Technician is responsible for providing specified services for surgical patients under the direction and supervision of the Director or Coordinator.
- The Surgical Technician is responsible for acting in capacity as directed by the Director, Manager and/or Team lead.
Education and/or Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Surgical Tech program and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Eligible for or have CST certification.
Work Schedule
- 7:15 am start time – 8 hour shift
- with rotation for weekends, evenings/nights and holidays on call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $23.25 - $34.00 per hour
