Description
- Proofread, cite-check, and fact-check legal documents such as motions, mediation submissions, and trial papers.
- Organize documents and manage document productions.
- Prepare deposition materials, including compiling and organizing exhibits, for hearings and trials.
- Index discovery documents and create tables of contents and authorities for court submissions.
- Conduct legal research on various topics using PACER, Bloomberg, Westlaw, and other tools.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external agencies.
- Manage filings with arbitration institutions, including AAA, JAMS, NAM, and FINRA.
- Perform other duties as needed based on case requirements.
Profile
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and document management tools like Filesite.
- Experience with litigation support software such as Relativity or Concordance.
- Familiarity with arbitration institution rules, procedures, and electronic filing systems (e.g., AAA, JAMS, NAM, FINRA).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
