We are seeking a supply chain manager to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world. In this role supporting Project Buy Sell, you will plan, coordinate and manage allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Understand forecasting, demand planning, material planning, and manufacturing processes to manage inventory movements across the supply chain. Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, adjust, and reconcile inventory levels across 30+ inventory locations. Participate in requirements gathering. Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation. Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings. Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design. About the Team Project Buy Sell is a supply chain initiative changing the way AWS purchases and manages server component inventory. We are a specialized team responsible for scaling and optimizing this exciting endeavor. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of program or project management experience. 1+ years of supply chain experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
