We are looking to hire a dynamic Data Entry Clerk to join our company's administrative department. In this position, you will be responsible for entering customer information into our electronic storage system, updating existing entries, and properly organizing hard copies of information.
To ensure success as a data entry specialist, you will need to exhibit impeccable organizational skills and experience working with various databases. Finally, a top-notch data entry specialist must have a keen eye for detail and an excellent knowledge of data management.
Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities:
Collect and digitize data such as invoices, cancelled receipts, customer information and financial statements.
Maintain a detailed and organized storage system to ensure data entries are complete and accurate.
Maintain a record of paper data such as invoices, inventory control lists and other financial documents.
Establish data entry standards by continually updating filing systems to improve data quality.
Address data inconsistencies by collaborating with administrative staff to locate missing data.
Attend to data queries and report any significant data errors to management.
Comply with data management best practices and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Data Entry Specialist Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist.
Excellent knowledge of data entry software.
Exceptional organizational skills, good eye for detail and ability to spot errors accurately and efficiently.
Good communication and collaboration skills with staff.
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent typing skills and experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Perform data entry in EMR.
Prepare information for data entry
Perform entry level support for data entry function.
Perform data entry on computers
Perform credit data entry
Provide basic level administrative support to the data entry function
Perform high volume data entry work
Perform data entry of new applications
Perform administrative functions or data entry tasks
Perform data entry typing, faxing, data entry tasks
Eliminate data entry errors and enter corrections
Maintain data entry requirements following data program techniques
Perform application entry and work with dealerships to ensure data entry
Train new data entry clerks on the computer system
Perform routine clerical and data entry functions
Ensure timely data entry and file management
Operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keyboard data entry and verification tasks
Set up data entry for each client
Review and verify data prior to data entry
Perform daily audits and data entry corrections
