Warehouse Supervisor
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of their warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory levels are maintained, shipments are prepared and dispatched on time, and all warehouse functions are executed in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Focus:
- Manage, lead, and develop a team of warehouse staff (5+ employees), ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper inventory levels to meet production demands.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory tracking and control systems, using ERP, Warehouse Management (WM), and inventory software tools.
- Collaborate closely with the production and quality assurance teams to ensure materials are available when needed and products are stored according to food safety standards.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, including productivity, accuracy, and stock levels.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and manage any discrepancies or delays in shipments.
- Manage inventory cycle counts and annual audits, investigating any variances and taking corrective actions where necessary.
Skill Set:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, managing teams of 5 or more employees, preferably in a warehouse environment within the food manufacturing sector.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and HACCP (preferred).
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
