Position Overview:


As a Recruiter you will be part of a dynamic HR team that is responsible for recruiting, assisting with onboarding, talent engagement, and assisting with a variety of HR projects throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, have an enthusiasm for assisting in building a culture and driving growth initiatives throughout the years to come.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen applications, conduct phone screens, schedule interviews and update application tracking system as needed
  • Establish an effective network of industry contacts, associations, trade groups, social media and other emerging strategic source
  • Achieve meaningful success metrics and track measurable facets so that processes are transparent and continually improve. Set continuous improvement goals
  • Consult with managers and communicate regularly to establish rapport, understand needs and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Conduct proactive sourcing activities in order to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives, which may include: attending career fairs for recruiting and company recognition, developing working relationships with key college contacts, giving presentations at colleges, attending student group meetings, etc.
  • Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building
  • Broad knowledge of business operations and impact on employment and sourcing
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Ability to partner directly with department managers on resolving their talent challenges
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours as job
  • Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Team player – ability to jump in where needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • At least one year of recruiting experience
  • Experience with applicant tracking system required
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred
