About the role
We're growing fast and need great people to help us scale! We're looking for a recruiting generalist who knows how to move quickly and loves creating amazing experiences for candidates. Any given week can vary, from helping build top of funnel for open roles, to owning the offer process across different departments. You'll join a team where homemade cookies appear on tough days, laughter fills our meetings, and team offsites are actually fun. You'll be instrumental in helping in this next phase of company growth, helping us in our mission to make the internet a safer place.
This role is primarily based in our San Francisco office, with required in-office days Tuesday through Thursday. Relocation assistance is available for anyone located outside the San Francisco Bay Area.
What you'll do at Persona
- Support recruitment process - Partner with leadership to define needs, scope roles, and manage all parts of the recruiting cycle for a variety of roles and functions.
- Create sourcing strategies - Develop innovative approaches to build diverse candidate pipelines through multiple channels.
- Dive into full-cycle - You'll participate in full-cycle recruiting, from outreach to offer, ensuring an excellent candidate experience across the business.
- Optimize processes - We're scaling rapidly. You'll help continuously improve our recruitment workflows and systems.
- Ad-hoc projects - Work cross-functionally to build or revamp existing programs (ie - interviewer training, recruiting events, content, and employer brand-building strategies).
- Minimum 1+ years of recruiting experience, ideally having spent some time in a startup or high-growth environment
- Proven creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing offers and closing candidates
- Passion for candidate experience - candidates love you!
- You're a natural at cross-team collaboration
- Flexible and outcome-focused, you have a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' way of getting things done, even if it means scheduling candidates

$80,000 - $95,000 a year
Offer and benefits
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $80,000 - $95,000. Base salaries are just one component of the total compensation package and are determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications and more. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity packages that play a big part in recognizing you for the huge impact you will have on helping us achieve our mission.
