Summary

As a member of the Employee Experience Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and the ongoing over-sight of the physician recruitment, development, and retention initiatives for Covenant Health

Essential Job Responsibilities

Recruitment

+ Serve as a physician employment and retention consultant, partnering with internal and external experts to significantly contribute to the system's strategic and growth initiatives.

+ Develops and maintains a working knowledge of local provider employment agreements, employment process, offer packages, compensation and benefits to answer candidate questions as needed

+ Develop/Implement advertising and marketing strategies to attract providers to Covenant Health and its member facilities

+ Collaborate with provider recruitment team maintain systemwide approach to recruitment.

+ Report regularly on recruitment activity with local market.

Community Outreach

+ Acts as a business partner to promote patient volume at assigned facility and Covenant Health affiliates in accordance with priorities set forth in the Covenant Health Strategic Plan.

+ Develops and implements specific outreach, relationship building, and marketing plans to meet goals, in collaboration with Marketing & Public Relations with Marketing & Public Relations

+ Develops strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses to increase their advocacy of Covenant Health affiliates and programs.

+ Provides input, as needed, into the provider recruitment budget. Manages costs effectively, audits and submits expenses for approval and payment.

Onboarding

+ Collaborates with the Coordinator and Credentialing Specialist to organize a successful onboarding process for new providers.

+ Develops and maintains a working knowledge of the health system and regional communities to assist with candidate inquires during onboarding.

Job Requirements

Job knowledge and skills

+ The ability to multi-task, planning and prioritizing a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.

+ Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Demonstrated ability to conduct internet research in an efficient, productive manner.

+ Exhibit a high-energy level, and demonstrate the ability to work as a team, with flexibility in work hours to schedule and meet the needs of the medical staff.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills.

+ Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.

Education & Experience

+ Bachelors degree preferred

+ Minimum of three (3) years experience working with physicians/providers, medical practice office staff, or other medical specialties preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal office work environment.

Travel to other COVH facilities as needed, and to national careers fairs/ conferences.
