EquipmentShare is Hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter

EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior Technical Recruiter for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.
Primary Responsibilities
  • This role will report directly to the Technical Recruiting Manager.
  • Proactively seeks out talent through passive sourcing channels i.e. LinkedIn & Indeed.
  • This candidate will be relentless with sourcing and screening top talent, talent mapping, building proactive pipelines and will act as a market expert within our industry.
  • They will work to continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and implement technology that will help us scale the hiring needs of the business.
  • Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications and will demonstrate strong client management skills.
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
  • Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation
  • Scheduling all variations of interviews and managing the interview process.
  • Conduct intakes and interview debriefs.
  • Conduct in depth initial interviews.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and stay in contact with them for the best candidate experience possible.
  • Help to maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, and other designations
  • Weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and preparation of weekly updates.
  • Must collaborate with other Talent team members and onboarding team to finalize offer process.
  • Consistently ensure that recruiting practices are in compliance with current legal standards.
  • Collaborate with the team on future hiring processes and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in recruiting as a full cycle recruiter
  • Two or more years recruiting and sourcing for technical teams including but not limited to Software Engineering
  • Experience working with various technical teams and positions preferred.
  • Three or more years working directly with executive level leaders.
  • Possess the ability to understand and discuss key technical concepts with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with the role's requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and other stakeholders to understand the key priorities of each role to tailor recruitment processes accordingly.
  • The ability to identify potential candidates from diverse technical backgrounds, even if they haven't worked with the exact same tech stack.
  • The ability to identify candidates that have the technical expertise to collaborate with a results driven, agile, and iterative environment.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies within Talent Acquisition and adapt to the team's needs, ensuring continuous progress and scalability in a growing company.
  • Strong skills in sourcing passive candidates
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods including boolean searches
  • Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for HR
  • Past experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Grayscale, Indeed/Glassdoor and Workday preferred
  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Experience in developing recruitment strategy
  • Ability to travel when required
