Position summary:
The Administrative Assistant position is critical for providing leverage to the advisor's time. This role keeps the daily operations of the practice running by utilizing Thrivent computer systems and programs in support of client scheduling, service requests, and data entry. The Administrative Assistant reports to and is employed by Ritter Financial Group.

This position will be out of Reynoldsburg, OH. Hours are 30-40 hours a week and will be a set schedule once hours are agreed upon. Compensation for this position is $20/hr. Opportunities

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Support the lead advisor with variety of functions and tasks
  • Interfaces with clients extensively to coordinate meetings, mailings, and other communications.
  • Answer and triage all incoming calls and messages appropriately
  • Maintain client correspondence including mailing lists, card lists, compliance and marketing mailings
  • Document client meetings and prefill applications, paying careful attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintain adequate office supplies and professional appearance of the office areas
  • Maintain the Lead advisor's calendar
  • Update CRM systems as needed and maintain physical or electronic file systems
  • Input checks received into the blotter and on client posting sheets
Position Qualifications
  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Basic understanding of our products, services, and Thrivent Financial

Compliance and Regulatory
As part of Ritter Financial Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
