Job Summary:

Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities by handling a variety of administrative tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as they provide vital support to a team of high-performing professionals. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Schedule: This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with primary work hours from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Location: Onsite in Denver, CO

Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform general administrative tasks for a team of 4 - 5 people
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Plan and coordinate company events, including invite distribution and collaboration with external vendors and utilization of our internal client management resource tool
  • Oversee corporate gifting initiatives and manage customer mailing lists
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff phones, credit cards, parking, and office keys
  • Relationship management with landlord and office contractors
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Assist IT group by troubleshooting technical problems and following instructions to resolve issues
  • General office management, including organization of stock rooms, stocking kitchen items and ensuring office space is clean and organized
  • Work in tandem with administrative teams in our corporate office in Omaha, Nebraska
  • Provide executive-level support for key, designated individuals
  • Dependable, reliable and predictable attendance is required
Education/Experience/Skills:
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree or a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
Requirements:
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Must have strong customer service orientation
  • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a multi-project environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle assignments from multiple sources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well with others with strong ability to be a member of a team
  • Strong ability to use correct grammar, punctuation, spelling
  • Possess high personal standards of performance and integrity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is a requirement
  • Solid organizational skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

The job will require sitting in an indoor office environment, the need to visually read various written materials including, but not limited to paper documents and computer monitors. The job may also require standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs., carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, driving, and potential airline travel. The incumbent will have the ability to use standard office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, calculator, and copy and fax machines. Travel required to meetings in other office buildings, including local and domestic.
