Essential Job Functions
The Administrative Assistant provides support to managers and the Practice Assistant department. This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with great customer service skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to adapt to technology and emerging software, and commitment to department and organizational goals is necessary within our fast-paced legal environment.

The Administrative Assistant provides support to managers and the Practice Assistant department. Additional essential functionsinclude, but are not limited to those set forth below:
- Perform administrative activities which may be highly confidential and sensitive, and require discretion and diplomacy
- Updating schedules and reviewing absences in PeopleSoft
- Processing expense reports; scheduling meetings; researching and compiling department statistics
- Organizing and converting this data into charts and graphs for presentations and memos
- Compiling data utilized for staffing decisions; tracking and monitoring department overtime; and assisting with other projects as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in a legal or financial services organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities is a must
- Ability to work and collaborate with people at all levels
- A detail-oriented professional who demonstrates accuracy, upholds the highest standards of professionalism, and takes full accountability for their work
- Have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Must be self-starter, proactive, organized, and have the ability to exercise independent judgement and utilize critical thinking
