The primary purpose of this role is to support the Mankato leadership team as well as the overall plant with a wide variety of administrative tasks and projects specifically in the areas of Safety, Quality and Human Resources.

Job Description
Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Mankato leadership team as well as the overall plant with a wide variety of administrative tasks and projects specifically in the areas of Safety, Quality and Human Resources.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Puts safety first in all responsibilities.
- Promotes Amcor health, wellness and safety initiatives.
- Performs general administration duties including event/activities communications, various postings, maintaining files, internal/external phone coverage, assembling new hire packets, security badge along with external contract administration, maintaining and ordering office/beverage supplies for the plant, generating weekly, monthly or quarterly reports, i.e, rosters, phone log, attendance reports, staffing reports, payroll reports, restriction reporting. etc.
- Utilizes Kronos to audit timecard entries and ensuring accurate payroll entries prior to bi-weekly payroll processing understanding the Union CBA. Partners closely with corporate payroll on payroll adjustments, corrections, etc.
- Maintains Holiday schedules for the hourly and salaried workforce.
- Partners with the Quality Manager to maintain the KMS system tracking employee training along with maintaining plant documents (processes and procedures) assisting in customer quality audits.
- Administers monthly Union dues., annual SDS review/updates, monthly recognition program, employee engagement activities and serving on the engagement activities team.
- Lead the annual United Way campaign, end of year holiday events, document retention, and assist HR with benefits annual enrolment needs, i.e. updating offer and new hire packets.
- Generates and provides management with data collection and miscellaneous reporting as requested.
- Other administrative duties assigned, i.e. mail distribution, processing invoices, maintaining PPE for visitors, etc.
- HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role preferred.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Ensures confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of internal systems, KMS, Kronos, Workday, SAP, Citrix.
- Regular attendance.
