HCSC is hiring: Data and Systems Analyst in Bethlehem

The Data and Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data trends and patterns to support business objectives as well as support application lifecycle practices. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and effective communication to drive data-driven initiatives. Local Lehigh Valley candidates, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize data findings and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Data Integration:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration processes between various systems and databases.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, implementing solutions as needed.
• Operational Support:
  • Support application upgrades, problem investigations, corrective actions and data changes.
  • Work closely with IT, operations, and other teams to ensure effective data management and integration.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to data strategy discussions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, integration workflows, and analytical methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues pertaining to data tools and best practices.
  • Participate in afterhours/on call support where required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 1-3 years' experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with strong understanding of data analytic techniques and tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and reporting packages and creating paginated reports
• Experience with database engines such as SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2
• Prior experience supporting GxP/Healthcare operations preferred
• Strong customer centric focus, problem-solving skill, and attention to detail
