MicroHealth is seeking a Business Analyst/Requirement Analyst to support our client and team. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Indian Health Service Division of Data Management and Analytics (DDMA) Program Management Office (PMO) team. The primary focus will be on applying best practices as outlined in the Project Management Process Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to capture, document, and communicate technical requirements, including design, build, and test plans for assigned projects. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying, validating, and mitigating technology risks.

**This is a remote position.

Essential Functions:

The Business Analyst/Requirement Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Facilitating requirements gathering and user story review meetings to ensure that all project requirements are accurately captured and understood.
  • Developing project wireframes for user stories, translating conceptual requirements into visual representations to guide development.
  • Documenting customer requirements clearly and comprehensively, ensuring that all technical specifications are aligned with business needs.
  • Updating the project workbook to reflect the latest status and changes in project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensuring effective communication with project team members and customers, maintaining alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Providing expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Applying best practices in health IT to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues for data analytical and visualization solutions.
  • Assessing the operational and functional baseline of departments to define the direction and strategy for agile development projects, ensuring that specific needs and requirements are addressed.
  • Overseeing the documentation of user requirements, reviewing business processes, and supporting user acceptance testing and post-implementation support.
  • Supporting the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and ensuring project collaboration and communications.
  • Working under minimal supervision, with the initiative and independent judgment in support of an agile project management methodology.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years or more of Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong development background, with experience in incremental software development projects using Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, RTM (Requirement’s traceability matrices), and SDLC.
  • Ability to leverage strong interpersonal collaboration skills in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Comfort in presenting suggestions for change and improving workflow.
  • Excellent analytical and process-based skills, including process flow diagrams, business modeling, and functional design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to write and deliver clear business requirement documents and presentations.
  • Familiarity with application-level requirements, especially in complex workflows or integration with external applications.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects involving process change and technology enhancements.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize tasks and actions to meet deadlines according to business priorities.
Salary:
  • $110,000 - $125,000

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
