As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Forklift Operator.
What We're Looking For:
We are currently hiring a full-time Forklift Operator. As a Forklift Operator your main purpose would be to operate a forklift to move product from one location to another in racks and in free standing stacks. Other duties include loading and unloading trucks and railcars. As a forklift operator you may drive in wet, dry or icy surfaces.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
Forklift experience or qualified to operate forklift machinery. Must be able to pass Twin City Foods forklift training program.

The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance.

- Experience driving a forklift.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret data with great attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical skills.
Forklift experience or qualified to operate forklift machinery. Must be able to pass Twin City Foods forklift training program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks under, over, or around loaded pallets or boxes and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Stack cases (up to 50lbs.) for containers and rail carts.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Lubricates forklift, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank or replaces liquefied gas tank.
- General housekeeping of product and pallets off and on forklift.
- General cleaning duties such as sweeping freezers.
- Able to pull chain to open dock plate to be loaded, lift pallets and stack and remove slip sheets off pallets (40-50 times per load).
- Other duties as assigned.
