Purpose/Scope Administers and assures compliance with security regulations and procedures to include badging requirements in accordance with DoD and/or DLA guidelines. Directs and advises all departments regarding security regulations and procedures to include badging requirements. Routinely interacts with Government agencies relative to security and badging matters. May also be responsible for the development, administration, coordination and monitoring the comprehensive security programs. Responsibilities Must be able to interpret and apply various DoD, DLA, Service and local policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory guidance. Performs as the badging official to complete security requirements for prime and subcontractor personnel. Plans and coordinates security, badging services, and related functions to include the implementation and supervision of programs to ensure maximum utilization within the facility. Coordinate with the responsible Company Facility Security Officer (FSO), to perform functions to ensure personnel DoD Clearance requirements are met and maintained. Screen and process badging and access support to Company and subcontractor personnel, vendors, and visitors at customer/company site(s), to include foreign nationals. Sponsors and escorts facilities visitor regarded through government systems. Administers and organizes Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) programs Ensure adherence to regulations for generation, transfer, storage, and handling of classified materials. Process and authorize key and lock requests, in coordination with contract key custodians and customer locksmith, to include periodic key audits. Process official event security and badge needs such as for launches, camera permits, provide instructions to requesters and/or users. Must be capable of managing such tasks as program planning, program evaluation, identifying and resolving security related issues and advising organizational leadership on appropriate Physical Security and AT/FP measures. Minimum Knowledge Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Physical Security, Operational Security (OPSEC) and Antiterrorism/Force Protection within the past five (5) years. Must be able to obtain or have a favorable National Agency Check Investigation. DoD Clearance of Secret or above also applicable. Must be knowledgeable with data collection compilation software applications. Must be able to acquire Agency Check Investigation. DoD Clearance of Secret or above also applicable. Position may require travel. Work Environment Most positions involve work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/ organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
