Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Top Secret Security clearance This is designated Drug Testing Position (if applicable) Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Travel: up to 25% Telework: minimal (situational/ad-hoc only) To serve as a security specialist supporting the DAF PEO C3BM. As part of the Security Team, manage the C3 and ABMS security program in-order-to effectively ensure all personnel are trained/aware of their security roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities; make personnel aware of threats, and/or provide security response options for enhancing security and addressing security concerns. Promote continuous improvement of security programs by providing technical guidance and/or direct support in monitoring implementation effectiveness and efficacy of security measures associated with programs. Enable unit capabilities by identifying, justifying, coordinating need for, and securing resources necessary to enact security requirements based on risk management principles. Plans, organizes, and executes integration of security processes for Advanced Battle Management Systems and across DAF PEO C3BM Directorates programs/activities, facilities and acquisition program systems, that support advanced or special programs and SCI material, at contractor and other government locations. Performs duties as a Security Specialist leading integrating activities and managing projects for multiple security disciplines to include Information Security, Operations Security, Physical Security, Industrial Security, Communications Security, etc. Will technically and administratively lead development and documenting consistent security processes for programs/activity as defined in AF and DOD guidance. Assists in maintaining security oversight and cross cutting Operations Security and manage large scale classification management program including DAF, USN, DISA, and other organization classification decisions. Assists in developing operating standards and training and provides expertise across organizations included in the DAF PEO operating model on interpretation, clarification, and implementation of security in application of research, development, and acquisition directives. Represents organization with DoD, USAF, HQ AFMC and various oversight organizations as well as government customers and contracted organizations.
