TDC Security Guard
Position Status: Full Time
Classification: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY
The Security Guard position is responsible for assisting the Security Officer in securing the assigned premises, personnel, members, students and guests by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in ensuring the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
  • Protect the ministry's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.
  • Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.
  • Perform first aid or CPR.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintains Victory protocol, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates integrity.
  • Performs and maintains tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably.
  • Valid Cleet Armed License is preferred;
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sound judgement
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends).
  • Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.

  • Lift 20 pounds individually and occasionally 50 pounds;
