ECS is seeking a Network Security Administrator to work in our Honolulu, HI office.
This role is primarily to support operations and maintenance of Comply To Connect (C2C) at various Army bases, specifically in the Pacific Theater.
We are currently seeking an eager individual who is interested in diving headfirst into Forescout as a network administrator. This role will provide administrative support and documentation to create a healthy security posture managing and troubleshooting C2C endpoints for our delivered Managed Service supporting the US Army. In this role, you will focus on operational support, including monitoring, troubleshooting the solution and various plugins to AD, Azure and other relevant tools within the Army to classify and enforce endpoint compliance.
- Provide tier1 and tier2 network support via enterprise ticketing system to bases for Network Access Control using Forescout and 802.1x certificates.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and MACD (move, add, change, delete) work in network devices and appliances
- Monitor C2C endpoints for compliance and provide support to resolve deficiencies
- Participate/troubleshoot network-related or endpoint related issues with respect to C2C/Forescout.
- Provide documentation (network diagrams)
- Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical members and the customer
- Implement/operate diagnostics and monitoring tools to understand, assess, and modify system behavior and performance
- Participate in performance, load, and stress testing, and solve issues identified
- Perform ad hoc projects support, analysis, and reporting as needed
- Troubleshoot and analyze data/packet flows using TCPDUMPs, PCAPs and other analytics
- Provide documentation such as STIG Checklists, CRQs/RFCs, and Diagrams
- Collaborate with other team members to provide solutions to existing issues and future enhancements as needed
- Make recommendations to optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of networking infrastructure.
- Understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and intermediate knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networks to include ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade switches
- Administrator's level of understanding of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX) is a plus
- Computer Networking Systems Administrator's level Knowledge of all protocol layers
- Minimum Top-Secret clearance is required
- Must Be US Citizen
- Compliance with DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date
- 5+ years support in network/IT security
- CCNA or equivalent
- Security+ or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in a computer science related field or 5+ years' experience
