Job Description

Cherokee Casino Grove is seeking a dedicated Armed Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and valuable assets across our diverse properties, including casinos, smoke shops, and parking lots. Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned properties, deter crime, and ensure the well-being of our guests and employees. Report any safety hazards to leadership.


  • Enforce policies and procedures, address guest violations, and prevent unauthorized entry with prohibited items.


  • Greet guests with a friendly smile, provide directions, and assist with inquiries.


  • Respond promptly to accidents and incidents, administer first aid, and perform CPR if necessary.


  • Detect suspicious activity and behavior, and promptly notify leadership.


  • Build positive relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.


  • Maintain detailed written reports of incidents and patrol activities, adhering to all company policies.


  • Ensure compliance with age verification requirements by reviewing guest IDs.


  • Conduct thorough investigations, prepare written reports, and interview witnesses while adhering to legal regulations.


  • Be a team player and readily take on additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • We're looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma and at least 6 months experience in Security or a related field.


  • State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) Armed Security Guard License.


  • Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.


  • Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and how the chain of evidence is maintained.


  • Ability to pass a CNE security approved custody control and weapons training.


  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.


  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification


  • A valid driver's license is essential for ensuring swift response and assistance across properties.
