This is only for the Cartersville Area. Must be no more than 25 miles away. Weekend and holiday availability is required

Qualifications:

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

Requirements:

• Foot or vehicle patrols
• Detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Can enforce policy and procedures
• Experience in security (at least 2 years)
• Moderate computer skills
• Can do visitor access control
• EMS and VMS software knowledge
• Courteous demeanor
• Willingness to learn
• Comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid 24 Hr GA Security Certification
• Valid GA Driver's License
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Previous security experience
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Military Background preferred
