JOB SUMMARY
Patrols Casino and grounds to maintain order, enforce regulations, ensure observance of applicable laws, and provide customer service by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Patrols gaming floor, corridors, public restrooms and Casino grounds on foot or by vehicle.
• Confers with Supervisors, contacts and interviews guests and team members to detect infringements and investigates disturbances, thefts, vandalisms, and accidents.
• Controls access to Casino, monitors guests and vendors.
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, or carrying forbidden articles, and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, and security doors left unlocked.
• Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
• Permits authorized persons to enter property.
• Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for use of supervisory staff.
• Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the Casino to maintain an orderly flow.
• Patrols Casino property on foot and by vehicle.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License.
Must complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) training for serving alcohol responsibly within three months of being employed and maintain a valid certificate while employed thereafter.
Must possess a valid drivers license and complete a basic first aid and CPR class provided by the company within 120 days.
