PHLEBOTOMIST- PRN Opportunity

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is hiring for a PRN Phlebotomist interested in working on Saturdays and Sundays! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you!

The phlebotomist is responsible for performing routine blood draw procedures including but not limited to proper collection of venous and capillary specimens. Must have the ability to read, write and learn a computer system. Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in obtaining laboratory specimens from all age groups.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate, training and certification from accredited phlebotomy program preferred. Previous experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken and written word. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

COMMUNICATION/COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have good verbal communication and listening skills. Must have commitment to team operation with customer service spirit.
