Position Overview: Seeking experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all aspects of accounting and a strong ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Charge Accounting: Oversee all financial transactions and recordkeeping to ensure comprehensive accuracy.
Sales Tax Compliance: Manage and ensure timely and accurate sales tax filings.
Commission Calculation: Accurately calculate and process commissions.
Payroll Support: Ensure payroll transactions are processed correctly and on time.
Cash Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations to accurately account for all cash transactions.
Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing and provide collections support.
General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Month-End Close: Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure accurate financial statements.
GAAP Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain robust internal controls.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports.
Accounts Payable: Manage the accounts payable function, processing bills and expenses efficiently.
Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card expenses, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
3-7+ years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
CPA or CMA
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Capability to thrive in a hands-on role without direct reports.
History of job stability.
