Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Qs, 8-K) and disclosure checklists. This role is critical in ensuring that the company complies with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEC Filings: Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Disclosure Checklists: Maintain and update disclosure checklists to ensure all necessary information is included in filings.
- Compliance: Ensure the company is in compliance with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on SEC filings and compliance.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial policies. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders.
