About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Impact Labs initiative, which is dedicated to creating a robust infrastructure for faculty-led, socially impactful research and engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the faculty co-chairs to develop and execute the strategic vision of the initiative, with a focus on fostering partnerships between academia, local communities, and government to address pressing social issues. This role requires a nationally recognized leader in the field of social impact and a proven track record in organizational leadership, particularly within the context of government, community-based organizations, or academic impact lab settings. The Executive Director will be responsible for thought leadership, faculty engagement and coaching, team building, and establishing a culture that supports the initiative's mission. Additionally, the role involves management, operations, and development, including fundraising and ensuring the initiative's activities align with its goals. Candidates for the Executive Director position should hold a Master's degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 10 years' professional experience. The role demands an individual with exceptional skills in strategy development, attention to detail, and risk mitigation, as well as the ability to lead an entrepreneurial endeavor within a large organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social impact, be adept at generating and spreading solutions to social problems, and have a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. The Executive Director will be at the forefront of the initiative, responsible for its success and for creating tangible progress in the pursuit of real-world solutions.
