Job Description:
As a Cloud CSAIII, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for cloud environments. You will ensure that cloud infrastructures are secure, resilient, and compliant with organizational policies and industry regulations. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to integrate security best practices into cloud solutions, maintaining a robust security posture, and supporting the organization's strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions:
1.Cloud Security Design and Implementation:
o Implement secure cloud architectures in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
o Develop and maintain security frameworks for cloud services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS)
o Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
2.Collaboration and Integration:
o Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security into cloud solutions and workflows.
o Provide guidance and support for secure application development, deployment, and maintenance.
3.Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
o Implement and manage cloud security monitoring tools and practices to detect and respond to security incidents.
o Develop and maintain incident response plans specific to cloud environments.
4.Documentation and Reporting:
o Document cloud security policies, procedures, and architecture designs.
o Prepare and present security reports to senior management, highlighting key risks, compliance status, and security posture.
5.Continuous Improvement:
o Stay current with emerging cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices.
o Continuously improve cloud security measures based on lessons learned and evolving threat landscapes.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
o Proven expertise in cloud security practices and technologies.
o Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
o Direct experience with security tools and technologies for cloud environments.
o Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
o Effective communication and presentation skills.
Registration or Licensure Requirements:
certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM) are preferred.
Initial Selection Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience with Cybersecurity or IT Security. Also having experience with Cloud technologies. Azure Security expert certification is preferred
