The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms, clean rooms as needed, wash change linen as required, perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.
Perform necessary duties as needed
Sweeping and moping of floors, removal of trash
Cleaning of windows

- BASIC PURPOSE
The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms, clean rooms as needed, wash change linen as required, perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform necessary duties as needed
Sweeping and moping of floors, removal of trash
Cleaning of windows
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Ability to speak Basic English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasks
- Perform assigned task as determined by supervisor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be 21 years or older.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information
