What you'll do as a Telecom Drill Bores Equipment Operator Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine construction pathResponsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenancePerform work in all weather conditionsDig pits, trenches or potholes as directed by job plan Drive company vehicles with equipment to and from jobsites as neccessary and permittedSafely operate and control heavy machinery including but not limited to: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer Utilize "Mud" mixing systems when drilling/boringDetermine bore path and locate utilitiesDevelop and maintain a bore scheduleOther duties as assigned What you'll need To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceValid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement required, or willingness to obtain itExperience with the capabilities and limitations of telecom construction equipment, including drilling equipment and drill setup and design processesMust be able to pass preemployment drug and alcohol tests, DOT medical certificate physical test, and background checkPhysical abilities & exposuresRoutinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 poundsOccasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Salary Range $25 - $32 + per hour, DOEWhy work with usYour career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
