We are looking for a Material Master Specialist to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!
This role will be responsible for the maintenance of the Material Master linked into the MRP system. The Material Master Specialist will interface with the Sales Directors, Account Managers and Inside Sales to understand and document the specification for each customer. The Material Specialist will own the "set up", maintenance and material linkage to each customer specification. They will interface with the Product Metallurgists to update and maintain the Metallurgical Standard Practices. A part of this role in the Warrick plan-do-check-act quality system will be the ISO Coordinator for Material Master, Product Metallurgist and CPQA department. This role will also function as the claims administrator and will work with the Customer Service group and the plant to track, verify and reimburse the customer for discrepant material.

- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Science or Mathematics.
- Technical skill areas include: Basic computer knowledge, Statistical Methods, Problem Solving Techniques, written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or Mathematics
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- One to three years experience in metals or aluminum industry Quality system experience (ISO 9001-2008)
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Customer Service experience
- Strong computer skills with experience in SAP
