Your Role at Pura:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Master Data Manager to oversee the integrity, consistency, and quality of our product-related master data. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate product information across various systems and ensuring that product data is dependable for business operations and decision-making.

What You'll Own:

  • Lead Master Data Management (MDM) Projects for strategic initiatives and the related systems, partner across multiple functions to define MDM standards and governance processes, implement related solutions and oversee execution while aligning to the MDM program roadmap, Data & Analytics' strategy & approach, as well as continuously improve data integrity and reliability
  • Owner of process, governance and compliance for the corporate product Master Data Management process including identifying and correcting any gaps in the framework and working with business units to execute and govern
  • Define company standards for product Master Data as well as ensure compliance to maintain global data integrity
  • Design and develop a framework for product Master Data standardization and governance, including owning process flows, data maps, and standard definitions for governance across all products
  • Establish, monitor and audit product, vendor, cost, weights, dimensions, for enterprise solutions to facilitate smooth and accurate transaction flow from Arena to NetSuite to vendor ERP systems
  • Serve as master data SME on all new system integrations or enhancements requiring master data to ensure proper usage and assess process impact
  • Manage and modify process and data points as necessary to support seamless integration as business models change or exceptions arise
  • Ensure data quality and MDM adherence through systems & processes to ensure data integrity
  • Research and document Master Data processes and governance best practices
  • Creates and maintains accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Material (BOM) and Item Master records for Finished Goods (Kits) to support order management, manufacturing, material requirements, cost and Sales Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, data management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification in data management is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product data management, data governance, or a related field. Experience with product information management (PIM) systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
  • Experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Master Data Concepts, Process facilitation, Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions with exceptional levels of consistency and accuracy
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with data management tools and technologies, such as Arena, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or other PIM/ERP systems. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships across the organization.
