About the role
The Business Planning Analyst is responsible for the daily management and improvement agenda for Leviton's Responsive Manufacturing Process (RMP) and manages projects associated with the roll out of product in future Waves. This cross-functional role will support the Business Planning Manager in engaging and influencing stakeholders across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and business unit leadership to deliver on the RMP vision.
The Business Planning Analyst will support facilitating the business planning process across the business unit. The position will support the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, which includes demand review, supply review, executive review, along with any other adjacent process steps (e.g., financial reconciliation).
In parallel, the Business Planning Analyst will support the Senior Product Life Cycle Manager & IBP Data Analyst with product phase in/out, inactive inventory management, excess inventory tracking, and sales reporting.

$75,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Conduct daily execution of Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM), inclusive of running daily reviews of all products that are part of the program and supporting and/or running daily meetings with key personnel from customer service, supply chain, and plant operations
- Identify issues with specific sku's in the RRM process; make recommendations to Business Planning Manager for strategy to address the issue, and then lead the effort to resolve working with customer service, plant operations, supply chain, product management, engineering, and any other departments as necessary
- Support the implementation of adding more sku's to the RRM process by working with stakeholders across C&I and functions and contacts at the factories
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within RMP (e.g., scaling to additional plants, driving further lead time reductions, improving the customer experience)
- Support and enhance the IBP planning process
- Support periodic (monthly) planning cycles
- Work with functional and business leaders to close gaps in the planning process
- Support product / project management with phase in/phase out activities, including updating replacement item information and collecting finished good and component buildout data
- Track inactive and/or excess inventory to support recommendations to product management
- Support sales report maintenance
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-Starter
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, team player
- Microsoft Excel - intermediate
- Smartsheet experience preferred
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish is preferred
- Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field required
- Minimum of 2 years in a related field is required
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Experience in cross functional program or project management roles and/or business planning and supply chain preferred
