Job Summary:
Our client is actively seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic project team focusing on diverse aspects of the energy trading and risk management (ETRM) industry. As a crucial team member, you will leverage your expertise in Endur and back office processes to facilitate the successful implementation of solutions that align with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and back office teams to collect and document comprehensive business requirements.
- Develop and articulate functional specifications within Endur to guide solution development.
- Analyze trading data, financial reports, and risk management processes to ensure the proper functioning of solutions and alignment with expectations.
- Act as a liaison between project team members and IT, front office, middle office, and back office departments to ensure requirements meet business needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key energy trading stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and risk management, finance, and operations business units.
- Develop a deep understanding and proficiency with Endur and other energy trading systems.
- Assist in the development of test cases and collaborate with users to perform user acceptance testing for Endur implementations.
- Provide ongoing support through training, implementation, and early life support of solutions.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the energy trading or commodities industry.
- Exposure to major third-party ETRM systems, including Endur, Allegro, or RightAngle.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in implementing Endur solutions or developing custom solutions for front, middle, or back office operations.
- Familiarity with SQL, Java, or other programming languages commonly used in Endur customizations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across trading, risk management, and back office functions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and requirements.
- Experience leveraging Visio, Excel, and other common project tools preferred.
