LOCATION: Columbus, WI
SUMMARY: The IT Business Analyst provides cross-functional domain knowledge with a primary focus on manufacturing and finance processes. The IT Business Analyst works closely with subject matter experts and application developers to gather and document solutions requirements, document functional solutions, map and gap requirements to standard system functionality, and assist with end-to-end testing. The APC ERP solution will be a key concentration area for the IT Business Analyst. The BI Analyst is an expert with deep understanding of integration technologies and architecture who works to model, execute, and manage data integration practices that ingest, transform and provision data across various sources into an organized and unified view. Incumbents in this cross-functional role will have a strong understanding of manufacturing and finance with keen communication skills to collaborate at all levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence.
- Create and maintain current- and target-state data architectures.
- Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality.
- Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state.
- Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activities.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics.
- Lead functional configuration of the APC ERP system Radius in conjunction with the software provider.
- Participate in end-to-end testing of software solutions.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- An ability to build strong customer relationships with a focus customer-centric solution delivery.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.

- Making sense of, simplifying complex, and providing options to effectively solve solving technology problems.
- Proficient knowledge in modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration toolsets with a focus on Microsoft tools.

- Occasional travel to APC facilities across the US
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- 5-10 years industry experience with a bachelor's degree in any field and demonstrated success as a business analyst or process engineer.
- Experience with ERP and/or software solutions. Experience with EFI Radius an exceptional plus.
- Very strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience with process mapping in any software solution.
- Lean Six Sigma certification a strong plus.
- Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives.
- Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Masters/Bachelor's degree (M.S./B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; with five-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
