Akkodis is hiring: Business Continuity Analyst in Winston-Salem

Akkodis is looking for an experienced Business Continuity Analyst and It's an onsite role in Winston-Salem, NC on Direct Hire basis. This person should be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving technical recovery plans. The tasks include scheduling, planning and reporting on contingency events. **Must be local folks only**

Pay Range: $80k- $90k; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications Required:

• Extensive knowledge in Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years in the financial services industry
• Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge and understanding of information technology, in distributed computing environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with the Archer business continuity platform
• Associate Business Continuity professional (ABCP) certification

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Execute continuity activities in accordance with the business continuity process framework
• Provide governance over technical recovery plans to ensure the recovery objectives of the business can be achieved
• Partner with infrastructure/application teams to ensure application designs align with recovery objectives
• Coordinate tests of technical recovery plans, reviewing the results and taking action to resolve identified issues
• Support technical recovery plan execution during the invocation and restoration of service to normal operating conditions
• Ensure that all employees who have a role in the recovery phase are fully trained and aware of their roles and responsibilities
• Review major changes that can have impact on technical recovery plans and updating the plans accordingly
• Build and maintain technical recovery scripts for new and existing services
• Some weekend work will be required
