Summary: The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our Salesforce platform. The experienced Salesforce Developer / Analyst will be responsible for providing solutions, information, and reports to key departments on the Salesforce platform, providing tailored solutions to enhance business processes, growth, and the overall performance of the Cleveland Foundation.
Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
Systems Development:
- Partner with key business areas to listen and translate business needs into high-level technical specifications; design and develop Salesforce solutions and consult with TIPS leadership to ensure smooth and inclusive implementation.
- Determine business area(s) and overall organizational objectives by monitoring and studying business functions and experiences; gathering information; and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Develop custom reports and Salesforce applications using JavaScript Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Provide consulting services to business areas by identifying time-consuming internal processes and then partnering with departments to recommend, design, and build solutions that are reliable, scalable, and enhance business outcomes.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions within the Salesforce environment.
- Collaborate, and organize internal resources and external vendors to define business processes, enhancements, new system implementation, defects, and associated system/reporting requirements.
- Perform Salesforce integration with other systems and third-party applications.
- Assist with mapping and migration of data when integrating between systems.
- Plan, prioritize, communicate, and deliver Salesforce enhancements in a timely manner.
- Work with the TIPS team to review and assess new requests identified by TIPS and/or requested by business area(s) for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, conflicting business area needs, and business benefit.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, trends, and best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting Support:
- Fully document all technical aspects of applications developed for the organization to ensure that sufficient information exists to support ongoing maintenance by others.
- Work with TIPS leadership to support custom reports and applications. This support will include modifications to existing systems, configuration of applications, and development of reports from organizational databases.
- Administration and ongoing support of the Salesforce platform. This includes a variety of responsibilities including troubleshooting, configuration of database connections, maintenance, and user accounts management.
- Fully document all technical aspects of applications developed for the organization to ensure that sufficient information exists to support ongoing maintenance by others.
- Work with TIPS leadership to support custom reports and applications. This support will include modifications to existing systems, configuration of applications, and development of reports from organizational databases.

Essential Qualifications, Credentials, and Technical Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science or related field.
- Minimum of five years of business systems analysis and/or software development experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum two - to three years of Salesforce systems analyst experience.
- Knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform.
- Minimum three years of experience Interpreting and writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and integration packages using SSIS (SQL Service Integration Services).
- Experience using Microsoft Teams for managing projects, files, and communications throughout the organization.
- Demonstrated customer-focused work style.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and good judgment in anticipating and resolving issues.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, internal and external to the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Salesforce Certification.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce frameworks.
- Proficiency in Salesforce integrations and data migrations using REST, SOAP, or other APIs and other relevant languages.
- Knowledge of various development and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, MS Power BI, MS Power Apps, and Qlikview.
- Experience with administration and customization of Salesforce Non-profit Success Pack, CRM, Einstein, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with communications software including file transfer scripting, encryption, and authentication methods.
- Experience with Salesforce data integration using Kingswaysoft ETL tool.

PAY AND BENEFITS:
The foundation's compensation program will determine the estimated annual salary for this position, which will be fair, consistent with the salaries of comparable positions within the organization, and reflective of a candidate's educational, professional, and community background and qualifications.
