Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping our data-driven culture by delivering insights that support strategic business decisions. This role is ideal for an analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights, and a talent for creating clear, compelling visualizations. You will collaborate directly with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand their data needs and develop tailored reporting solutions that address their unique challenges.
You'll spend your days on the following:
- Extract and analyze large datasets using SQL.
- Translate complex data into concise, meaningful reports.
- Design interactive data products to enable quick, informed decision-making for teams.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize, ensure reliability, and enhance accessibility of data sources.
- Focus on accuracy and consistency to maintain the integrity of the reporting environment.
- Improve scalability of business intelligence (BI) tools and processes.
- Introduce best practices for data visualization and reporting automation.
- Evolve BI capabilities to support the organization's growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis, query optimization, and data modeling. Experience with Python and R are a plus!
- Strong experience with Power BI (Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query) to build data models and proven ability to create impactful visualizations and dashboards.
- Strong experience with web analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics).
- Experience with tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to gather, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources with a high degree of accuracy.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes & data pipelines, and relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- A team player who works well in collaborative environments and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Experience with machine learning models including linear regression, decision trees, random forests, etc. are a plus.
