Job Description:
- The client is launching a multi-phase project to replace its outdated financial management system with Oracle Fusion Applications (including ERP).
- Integrations will be built with the Commonwealth statewide financial system (Cardinal) and procurement system (eVA).
- dditional business analysis will be conducted to prepare for Phase 2 (procurement, cost accounting, and patient fund accounting).
- This project must go live before the start of the next state fiscal year (July 1, 2025) and therefore will be very fast paced.
- The client is engaging a vendor to provide implementation services.
- This role will work with the project manager and senior business analyst to understand and document the complex financial management landscape in the Central Office and 12 facilities.
- This role will require an analyst who is skilled and experienced in communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand their processes and document them in process flow charts and written descriptions.
- The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable talking with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- The Business System Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
- The analyst leads analysis and solution definition; understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization; identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses; and suggests areas of improvement.
- This role will document requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- This role must have the ability to analyze systems and procedures, write and revise standards and procedures, communicate effectively, and train others.
- In addition, this position will Identify, understand and plan for organizational and human impacts of the new system and ensure that new technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes and skill sets.
