We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Technology Business Systems Analyst with a passion for technology and an excellent ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in project environments utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. A strong background in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and can manage their work independently with minimal direction, will have a proactive, "can-do " attitude, and will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings with technology engineers and the project manager to elicit and document requirements for project deliverables that includes scope, requirements, user stories, etc.
  • Partners with Scrum and Waterfall teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
  • Serve as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure that all parties are aligned.
  • Work on projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with technical and business stakeholders to ensure project clarity and direction.
  • Generate reports using Microsoft Excel, as well as create documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in IT organizations performing duties as a business systems analyst producing project artifacts e.g. scope and requirements documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal): ability to clearly articulate ideas and information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Project experience in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks: Experience working in environments that utilize both methodologies, with the ability to transition between them smoothly.
  • Proactive attitude: A positive, "can-do" approach to problem-solving and project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be a team player with a strong resolve for customer service and satisfaction.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to think critically and analytically to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration skills: Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with agile tools such as ADO.
  • Experience working on infrastructure projects is a nice to have.
