Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Business Analyst/Project Leader in our Energy and Sustainability Services group.

What will you do?

  • Partner with business sponsors, subject matter experts, and software development teams to build and enhance business process and reporting software
  • Work with product management and business stakeholder analysis teams to develop technology solutions to business needs
  • Elicit, shape and document software development requirements while maintaining a strong functional knowledge of applications
  • Respond to user requests for training and problem solving on existing systems
  • Act as the liaison between business staff and technical staff communicating issues, defects, and enhancements to the development teams
  • Create and maintain documentation of new project processes and deliverables including requirements, testing documentation and issues logs
  • Roll out new system enhancements to system users meeting training needs
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • 5+ years' experience as business analyst working on customer-facing business applications that are both data heavy and customer-focused
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with core competency in thoroughly understanding the entirety of problems and solutions
  • Creativity to view a problem from many angles, problem solve and drive towards an excellent solution
  • Initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively and self-starter who can suggest technology improvements
  • Effective working on teams, within and outside of function
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities
  • Proficiency in a MS Windows environment (i.e. Word & Excel)
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies
Preferred but nonessential skills and qualifications:
  • Previous energy or sustainability industry knowledge
