Payroll IT Business Analyst Job at Diverse Lynx in Farmington

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand business requirements related to payroll processing.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to payroll systems.
Serve as the payroll system subject matter expert within IT projects.
Lead small to medium IT projects, from requirement gathering to implementation.
Coordinate and guide multiple teams through pay cycle QA testing.
Write payroll test scenarios/scripts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT solutions with business needs.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Ensure data integrity and security in all payroll-related systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT support or business analysis, with a focus on payroll systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
Familiarity with database management and SQL.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Prior developer experience with ADP Enterprise HR v5 or v6.
Familiarity with the underlying database structure of ADP Enterprise HR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ADP AutoSys.
Familiarity with SQL writing, testing, and execution.
Knowledge of payroll processing systems and related software.
Experience with system migrations and process improvements.
Experience with MS Access.
Experience with Linux script writing/scheduling.
