About the Team
The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative business and technical led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other innovative platforms like SnapLogic, CPQ - Conga/Apttus, Reltio, Heroku, CLM, AWS, OKTA (SSO) and other.

About the Role

The Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst works closely with Sales business functions, along with other partner groups, to analyze and translate simple-to-complex business problems and needs into solutions. This is a techno-functional role to ensure requirements are understood and documented, ensure agreements and alignments are made with business and customer partners, and interact with internal and external technical resources, such as, developers, architect's, peer business analyst, scrum master's, and project/program managers to ensure the delivery of key business and technical capabilities. The person in this role should have a key understanding of Salesforce, CPQ, Quote-to-Order/Cash, and Agile with advance proficiency as a business systems analyst.
  • Authority in for both functional and solution analysis and light design for the Salesforce platform, and related technical areas listed below
  • Advanced partner with collaborators to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business/technology strategy and planned initiatives
  • Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements
  • Evaluate and address multi-functional and cross-system dependencies.
  • Responsible for understanding business requirements, creating/grooming user stories, and partnering with the Development team to deliver a solution and a plan.
  • Understand and perform Agile sprints, standard processes, tool entry (Jira or similar), and execution,
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements; serve as a trusted technology advisor for business users.
  • Advanced ability to participate in the organizational change and launch support processes.
  • Maintain a high-level familiarity with other IT system / business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations re: upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off.
  • Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and complete small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of 'run the business' enhancements and fixes.
About You

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce or CRM, Sales in an Enterprise IT environment
  • 8+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis or related field
Other Qualifications
  • Salesforce Admin Certification (201) a plus, not required
  • CPQ & CLM Certified a plus, not required
  • Advanced abilities to lead and drive key customer engagement discussions, as well as, quick learner, think creatively, and bring new ideas to discussion
  • Advanced delivery and execution, communication, critical thinking, coordination of work, and problem solving.
  • Ability to own more than one project at a time


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $112,000 USD - $168,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $106,400 USD - $198,000 USD
