Senior IT Business Analyst, WMS

If you are a Senior Business Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Torani has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a project leader to expand and elevate our Warehouse Management System (WMS) IT team as part of Torani's next stage of developmentdoubling our size, impact and success. Based in our San Leandro, California location, you will provide functional and technical expertise for all warehouse management and supply chain operational processes. You will help roll out a brand-new Warehouse Management System (WMS) along with implementing common business processes and supplementary tools. You will establish and implement common lean best practices along with effective consolidation of WMS and other supply chain applications.

SUCCESS FACTORS (first 12-18 months)

Technical Functional Leadership:
  • You will serve as the WMS Functional lead on the IT team that supports the Warehouse Management System business processes. In collaboration with the Operations Leadership team, you will explore requirements for the new WMS system that will best support Torani's business processes and improvements to correlate and support Torani's growth. You will design and plan for the implementation and provide analysis, configuration, training and testing of new application functionality.
  • You also support the other Oracle Manufacturing Modules and you've facilitated discussions with business users to translate business requirements into the technical and functional specifications. You are responsible for testing of operation functions and processes and troubleshooting for the new WMS system, including the development of various integrations of SaaS WMS system with Oracle.
Process Design:
  • Working closely with the business process lead, you will develop and maintain L1 to L4 process documentation including change control. Perform process gap analysis, evaluate system capabilities, run software vendor selection process, and lead the process and systems implementation. Capitalizing on your industry best practices knowledge you will ensure the successful implementation of common design and processes across the supply chain. You seek ways to improve processes from small tweaks to complete reengineering.
Systems Implementation and Integration:
  • You will own software implementation projects from facilitating integrations call with Business leaders and Developers to developing user training plans and strategies and ensuring adequate training is completed. Through a hands-on approach, you will support the successful implementation and upgrade on key initiatives including Warehouse Execution System, Yard Management, Time Management System and Automations upgrades. You will be an Agile practitioner that actively participates with valuable input in developing IT strategy roadmap.

Qualifications & Capabilities
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business information systems or related areas.
  • 5+ years' experience implementing Manhattan orMade4Net WMS (SaaS) systems strongly preferred. Knowledge of ERP(Oracle) is a plus.
  • Must have complete understanding of WMS system i.e., receiving, put away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Must have a solid business understanding of Inventory, Quality, Warehouse Execution System , Yard Management and Time Management System and Automations in a SaaS environment.
  • Must be able to analyze existing warehouse processes to determine opportunities to implement new WMS system.
  • Must have complete understanding of inbound, Inventory & outbound in a warehouse, DC & 3PLs.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the interactions among WMS SaaS systems and ERP(Oracle) modules within an ERP environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles with expertise in warehouse management.
  • Must have the flexibility to lead projects or participate as a team member.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, creation of user stories, backlog grooming and strategy to determine.
  • Expert in application support including problem analysis and resolution.
  • This is a hybrid role with a requirement of 3-4 days/week onsite in San Leandro, CA.

Salary Range: $144,000 - $176,000
