Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for several JDE Business Analysts for consulting assignments with one of our premier clients. Must work onsite 3 days per week in one of these offices: Greenville WI or Dodge Center MN. This is a 2-year contract, relocation candidates are encouraged to apply! We have 3 openings! We are looking for experienced BA's that have worked on a JDE upgrade project. This is NOT remote job Client cannot sponsor Visas now or in the future Cannot work c2c (no 3rd party agencies) Responsible for managing and optimizing processes within the materials management and inventory functions of an organization using JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne ERP software. Collaborating with different teams to align business requirements with JDE's functionalities and enhancing the workflow in these areas. Here's a breakdown of common responsibilities and the skills that are often required for this role: Key Responsibilities System Configuration and Support Customize and configure JD Edwards modules to meet the needs of the materials and inventory departments. Troubleshoot and resolve any JDE-related issues within the materials and inventory modules. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing JDE configurations. Process Optimization nalyze current inventory and materials processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements. Implement best practices for inventory management, including Lean manufacturing or just-in-time (JIT) inventory techniques. Data Management and Reporting Ensure accurate data management for inventory levels, materials tracking, and order processing. Develop reports and dashboards in JDE for inventory management, materials tracking, and forecasting. Stakeholder Collaboration Work with inventory, procurement, and warehouse teams to understand business needs and translate them into JDE configurations. Train end-users on JDE functionalities specific to materials management and inventory. Project Management Lead or participate in JDE-related projects, like system upgrades, process improvements, or integration of new modules. Ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved on time and within budget. Required Skills and Qualifications JD Edwards Expertise : Deep understanding of JDE EnterpriseOne, specifically in modules related to materials management, inventory control, and procurement. Business Analysis : Strong analytical skills to map business processes, perform gap analyses, and propose effective solutions. ERP Knowledge : Familiarity with ERP systems, with a specific focus on JD Edwards, and an understanding of how they integrate with other business applications. Materials Management and Inventory Control : Knowledge of materials management, inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and supply chain principles. SQL and Data Analysis : Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data, often using SQL or JDE reporting tools. Communication and Training Skills : Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and conduct user training sessions. Preferred Qualifications Project Management : Experience managing or participating in ERP projects, system implementations, or upgrades. Process Improvement Methodologies : Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies for process improvement. Technical Skills : Knowledge of programming or scripting languages for custom development, if needed, or familiarity with reporting tools (such as Crystal Reports or JDE BI Publisher).
