We are seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Dallas, TX team, working under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer, is responsible for the execution of various manufacturing engineering functions including process development, manufacturing project management, troubleshooting, and general manufacturing support and participation.  To be successful in this role, you will need to utilize your knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all engineering and manufacturing documentation is in place, controlled, and maintained
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency 
  • Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, materials, and related costs to provide information for management decisions 
  • Prepare and maintain manufacturing process plans, and provide training and guidance to shop floor personnel
  • Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes 
  • Manage troubleshooting activities, monitor tool and process performance, defect analysis and reduction
  • Read and interpret information from planning documents, drawings, tool orders, blueprints, specifications, engineering orders, and quality assurance manuals
  • Determine methods and sequence of operations necessary to complete fabrication of units  
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods.
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
  • Support additional engineering activities and research initiatives, as required
  • Conforms to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies, objectives, and obligations.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering, the Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • High technical proficiency
  • Sufficient knowledge of CAD design tools or CAM software
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Relevant technological knowledge
  • Ability to lead and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
