Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician III
Location: Redmond, WA 98052
Pay rate: Depending on relevant experience
Client: Multinational technology corporation - supporting a global broadband access initiative.
Contract expected start date: 11/18/2024
Contracted expected end date: 8/17/2025 (Potential for permanent conversion is based on performance and client needs)
Schedule: Must be willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are 1st shift: 6am-2:30PM and 2nd shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM. Shift will vary, depending on program needs.

Key job responsibilities
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and system-level testing maintenance
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
Additional Requirements:
- Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are 1st shift: 6am-2:30PM and 2nd shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM. Shift will vary, depending on program needs
- Flexible working/commuting in between site locations.
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Medical or related field)
- 2+ years of hands-on work experience Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experience
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters), as well as standard hand tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/license
- ASE certification and/or equivalent experience
- CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience
- 1+ years reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies (ISO, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools, including ERP systems.
